My store is all about creating engaging social-emotional learning resources that help students make sense of their feelings, choices and everyday situations — without overwhelming teachers.
My goal is to help students build real-life skills like emotional regulation, decision-making and confidence through hands-on activities and discussion-based lessons. Everything is designed to be low-prep, meaningful and easy to implement in real classrooms.
I love turning big concepts into kid-friendly activities that students can truly connect with.
After 15+ years in early childhood classrooms, I've learned that the hard moments aren't usually the ones in the lesson plan. They're the meltdown at the carpet, the friend who won't share, the transition that falls apart the same way every afternoon. Those moments are where SEL actually lives — and they don't wait for you to have prep time.
Three rules everything has to pass
It has to work at 7:40 in the morning
If a resource needs laminating, cutting, assembling and a color printer before it's usable, it isn't low-prep — it's homework. Most of what I make is print-and-go, and when something does need prep, I say so up front.
It has to make sense to a four-year-old
Big concepts like regulation and decision-making are real, but the language around them usually isn't built for little kids. I translate them into something concrete — a face to point at, a card to sort, a choice to talk through.
It has to hold up in a real classroom
Not a quiet demo classroom with eight children. A real one, on a Wednesday, in February. Hands-on activities and discussion-based lessons, because those are the ones that survive contact with an actual group of kids.
